Valtamic
Etymology
From Proto-Valtamic *äc, from Proto-Italic *et. Cognate with Latin et.
Pronunciation
- (Standard Valtamic) IPA: /æt͡s/; [æ(t̪)s̪], [ˌɛs̪‿]
Conjunction
äc
- and; connects two or more clauses
Usage notes
Äc is not to be confused with pä. Whereas äc connects whole clauses to each other, pä connects two items or ideas within a clause:
- Fëcel pä märäġ avämär restorënteṅ, äc ṡëmëcemer traṡ.
- My father and I went to a restaurant, and we ate a lot.
