It has two subbranches corresponding to different syllable shapes, called the Dō branch and the Út branch in Arilangic linguistics from the words for '1' (proto-form *Tút maybe) Proto-Arilangic was a polysyllabized monosyllabic tonal language with many homophonous morphemes, much like Mandarin.
