I'm a Salvadoran-hyphen-Canadian with an interest in linguistics (especially typology, and linguistics as applied to Latin (all stages of it, although Renaissance Latin maybe not so much), Spanish/French (including their medieval stages), Mandarin/Cantonese/Classical Chinese, and Standard Arabic).

I speak Spanish and English, okay French, Latin with pauses all over the place, and I don't know about Mandarin because I'm too shy to even try. (I have no plans to actively use any of the other ones.)
