Morphology
Nouns
Nouns use a complex system that's based on Old Kurufkuri's (one of the ancestors of Azimasi) system of hard vs soft grades. A lot of nouns behave very chaotically and thus have irregular declensions. Nouns can decline for Nominative and Oblique cases as well as Singular-Plural-Collective numbers.
Pronouns
The main pronouns are: me, tu, ī/i/ih, inu, vu, ī/īo/ih. They can also be prefixed onto verbs (to mark objects) and nouns (no mark possession) as me-, tu-, i-, nu-, vu-, i-.
Verbs
The default lemma form of the word is often the third person form. Third person singular and plural have been merged. The second person singular is unmarked. The past tense has largely been reanalyzed as a *-p- suffix, thus making the system semi-agglutinative.
Adjectives
Adjectives decline like nouns. They can also have comparative and superlative forms.
Particles
Azimasi uses an extensive system of particles to indicate relations of verbs and nouns. For example, instead of the copula, a particle ih is used. Every particle has a negated form. Whenever the sentence is negative, if there is a particle it has to become it's negative form, but if it doesn't have a particle, nih is added.
Syntax
The word order is usually SVO although objects are sometimes marked as prefixes on the verb.
