Arilangic is a language family of polysyllabic tonal languages mostly native to Imrnga. It has two subbranches corresponding to different syllable shapes, called the Ma branch and the Am branch in Arilangic linguistics. Proto-Arilangic is thought to have been a polysyllabized monosyllabic tonal language, much like Mandarin.
