Middle Annerish

Etymology

Disputed; per Teagan, a consolidation of disparate substrate borrowings. However, Bernthaler suggests partial Germanic origin on account of the nasal-stem verbal noun and dental preterite, but concedes difficult to derive formally from *arjaną for lack of better fit roots.
