Hallo! I'm CJ, but you may also call me Charles.

As of now, my main presence on Linguifex is my work on Hanebrugish, an a posteriori Germanic conlang created by me and an old friend of mine. I've been conlanging for almost two years now, and I really only have this conlang to prove it; I highly treasure it, even if it's rather simple.

My interests outside of conlanging include learning about history (from both political and linguistic perspectives), engaging in politics and philosophy, playing some of my favorite videogames, listening to music, and nerding out over Evangelion, my favorite anime.

I'm currently very active on the Discord server of the linguistics YouTuber Agma Schwa, to whom I am also a proud patron. He's really cool, you should check him out!
