== English Translation ==

Once upon a time there was a man called John. He was sad and poor. He badly needed food.

"If only I could get some food," he often said.

He was walking on the road to his hut. He had worked the whole day in the fields. It was becoming dark outside. Then, suddenly, a man walked up to him and gave him a box.

"This box will solve all of your problems," the man said.

John took the box while saying, "Thank you."

The man walked away, leaving John alone. John laughed.

"A box!" he cried. "The only problem a box can solve is storage, and I don't have anything to store!"

John soon arrived at his hut. He placed the box on the ground, and sat down. His scornful attitude from earlier was replaced by a genuine hope that the box would work.

"If this doesn't work, nothing will work!" he declared. With that, he opened the box.

Suddenly, his hut was transformed into a huge house. As he looked around the room, he saw a table with lots of food.

"There's too much for me," he said. "I will invite all the peasants in the area to eat with me!"

And he invited them, and they ate with him, and it was a truly wonderful day.
