New page

English Notes/Continuation;

Consider then the Gods, who are the Most Great.

There are Four who are equal and opposite, yet share a single trait.

This thing over them, Greatness, is free of their other parts.

This Greatness further exists over the words itself.

Greatness and all other things then, exists in understanding.

The Gods are those who most understand both Greatness and all other things.

For this I say, greatness lies in understanding.

We too may understand this greatness, though not as clearly as the Gods.

Humans then may pursue the greatness of Gods.

A Dog may not understand greatness, but it may see humans.

A Useful Dog will seek to understand the wishes of its master and in doing so come to resemble his master.

A Poor Dog will refuse to understand its master's commands and in doing so, learn nothing.

A Human then may come to ressemble a God through obedience which leads to understanding.

A Human may become weak and useless through refusing understanding and obedience.

The goal then of life is to seek understanding.

It is hidden within words that they may teach you a meaning above them,

Yet Words are only useful for their understanding and mean little if heard and not seen.

Thus one must seek a master [lit. ruler] closer to Godliness as other paths lead to ignorance.

This is the understanding above words.
