Onápaam Sowaázh is the working-class variety of Sowaázh spoken in the capital 'Onáp'aam of Sowaázh daSóol.
Phonology
The phonology of 'Onáp'aam Sowaázh is similar to Amísheg, with a few differences.
- Word-initial /sC-/ clusters become /C-/.
- Retros merge with their dental counterparts.
- There is more syncope.
- Overlong vowels appear.
- Stress accent rather than pitch accent (as in Modern Greek).
