Skundavisk
Etymology
From Middle Skundavisk stad, from Old Skundavisk stad, from Halmisk ᛊᛏᚨᛞ (stad), ᛊᛏᚨᛞᛉ (stadŕ), consonantal-stem variant of i-stem ᛊᛏᚨᛞᛁᛉ (stadiŕ), from Proto-Germanic *stadiz. Doublet of sted, which was derived directly from the i-stem word and thus underwent i-umlaut.
