Differences from standard Knrawi

  • Fortition does not occur except in syllabic [β̞] and /ɉ/ which are realized as [β̍] and [ɣ̍].
  • Sonorants do not syllabify after nonsyllabic vowels.
  • Syllabicity is not lost next to vowels.
  • Prevelar and postvelar consonants are realized as velar and uvular.
    • /x̟ˣ/ and /ʍ/ realized as [χ] and [χʷ].
  • /ŋ/ and /n/ do not assimilate.
  • /m/ and [mʷ] are realized as [ŋʷ] and [m].
  • [β̞] and [w] are not merged.
