From Sekhulla ləkʰadi, from Wascotl *lęk-scati. Cognate to Gwaxol lëxat¹, Gwaxol -lëx-, Kilīmos-sāîl lakšāde, Xodec jecxot. The meaning "tone" is a calque of Knrawi thaau.
