14. When they meet those who believe, they claim "we believe", but when they are alone with their devils, they say "we are certainly with you, we were only joking".

15. God will throw their jokes back at them, leaving them bewildered in their transgression.

16. It is they who trade guidance for misguidance, but this trade is profitless, and they are not guided at all.

17. They will be as if one kindled a fire, but just when it lit up all around them, God took away their light, leaving them in darkness—unable to see.

18. They are willfully dumb, deaf, and blind. They will never return to the straight path.

19. Or they are like one caught in a storm—a sky filled with darkness, thunder, and lightning. In fear of death, they press their fingers into their ears at every thunderclap. And yet God's might surrounds the disbelievers.

20. It is as if the lightning almost snatches away their sight. Whenever it illuminates the sky, they walk in its light, but when the darkness covers them once again, they stand still. Had God willed it, He could have taken their sight and hearing, but He did not. Surely, God is the most capable of everything.

9. طمس خواز روچ آللهې هو هاماطڃآسێماس يېࢰ طّالط مين يوعط روچ سي يېࢰېنط سآدې هو نيديرࢰينط
