Schlaub (đe ſlụbſce Γprauhe) is a descendant of Old High German spoken in Lõis's Germany.

The Schlaub alphabet is known as đe ſlụbſce Rịze, and is influenced by older forms of the Latin and Greek alphabets.

The definite article is đe, and the indefinite article is en. Schlaub lost Old High German grammatical gender but not case.

Nouns commonly pluralize in -e, -er, -en or not at all depending on the historical gender of the word. Here are some common declension patterns:

As in Thedish, the weak adjective declension has completely replaced the strong one. Here's an example:
