Syllable structure: (C)CV(C)
The glottal stop is not written word-initially.
Only the following finals are permitted: /m n ɲ ŋ p t c k ʔ w s ʕ h j l/. All plosive finals are unreleased, and final /ʕ/ is pronounced as [ʡ̚].
Vowel are considered long when a null or the following finals follow: /m n p t c k s h l/. These finals are orthographically doubled as follows to indicate a short vowel: mm /m/ nn /n/ pp /p/ tt /t/ cz /c/ ck /k/ ss /s/ ch /h/ [x] ll /l/ rr [ʡ̚]. In cases where a final cannot be orthographically doubled that way then an '''h''' is added after a vowel to make it a long vowel (if a short-long distinction exists for that vowel). Final /j/ which always follows a long vowel, is written as ''y''.
All nouns are capitalized, like in German.
