- (hence, of men; vulgar) To ejaculate on someone.
Usage note
When in a genitive construction with the verbal noun:
for the first sense, baıze is in the singulative and the direct object follows in the dative:
- 1667, unknown author, In Luínır, p.1:
- Ná fuıdem ın lóımhed baıthset de doí arn cloınn! - Do not let them baptize our children! (lit.: ɴᴇɢ. let the putting of=baptism by=them our children!)
for the second sense, baıze is in the collective, while the direct object is introduced with eır:
- Bfodmaır tí mu láıben baıze hoıre! - She didn't let me "baptize" her. (lit.: ɴᴇɢ. let ɴᴇɢ.3ᴘ.ꜰᴇᴍ.sɢ. my 'baptism' on=her.)
Forms in lába- can be spelt as ló- instead, though this common practice was proscribed by the Bésgnae Béırle.
