Proto-Mittaali had three vowel system: *a *i *u with no length distinction. Syllable structure was (C)V(C) with stress was falling on the first syllable
Morphology
Proto Mittaali is reconstructed as SVO, head initial agglutinative language with nominative-accusative alignment(like most of its descendants). Following noun cases are reconstructed:
Nominative: no marking
Accutative: *-put
Locative: *-kul
Dative: *-wa
Lative: *-lak
Instrumental: *-luj
Comitative: *-sfi
Genetive: *-tja
