Tuning | ==Tuning== | ||
Sjowaazheñ music uses JI like Talman and Bjeheondian music, but the melody is based around tetrachords or pentachords, dividing the perfect fourth (4/3) into four or five parts. More sophisticated innovations have led to finer divisions of the perfect fourth. The octave may be divided into two perfect fourths plus one whole tone. However, in monophonic music, the n-chords may even be stacked on top of each other, without regard to octave equivalence. |
