====General Remarks On Orthography====

Common Minervan is written in a variant of the script commonly used in Xabde which was derived from an earlier featural abugida. Script direction is from right to left, top to bottom. The spelling of Common Minervan is phonemic although it does change to reflect the effects of morphophonology.
Common Minervan is written in the Latin script which was introduced by Irish missionaries. The letters ⟨c, f, j, o, q, s, v, w, x, y, z⟩ are not used, even in foreign loans.
