Alliance is a language inspired by Khmer, Dinka, Tamil, Pama-Nyungan languages, and Arabic.

Stress is variable unlike in Classical Thean

Modern language shows a vowel split by register: /i iː e eː ɛ ɛː a aː ɔ ɔː o oː u uː/ -> Modal /ɪ̈ əːi ɜ eːi æ aːe ɑ ɑː o aːo ʌ əːu/ -> Breathy /i iː e̝ e̝ː e eː ɛə̯ iːə̯ ɔ ɔː o̝ o̝ː u uː/
