Future Theasphere languages are mostly monosyllabic tonal languages, with the exception of Qocwane. Bri, an endangered language of Mwail Isle of Man, is known for having 24 tones, from six initial phonations (prenasalized, plain x tenuis, voiced, glottalized) and four types of finals. On the other extreme, Danishmandi (the majority language of the continental Nordic region) only has 4 tones.
