Drug names in Tricin are informed by the phonologies of common Trician languages (such as Tizian, Sjowaazheñ, Eevo, Anvirese), while taking roots from abbreviations and chemical names.

Phonology

Consonants

Labial Dental/Alveolar Palatal Velar
Nasal m /m/ n /n/ ŋ /ŋ/
Plosive unaspirated b /p/ d /t/ g /k/
aspirated p /pʰ/ t /tʰ/ c /kʰ/
Affricate ts /ts/ tx /tʃ/
Fricative unvoiced f /f/ s /s/ x /ʃ/
voiced v /v/ z /z/
Trill r /r/

Should I have ng or not?

Anvirese has mutations - must factor that in

  • All drug names are neuter
  • initial b d g v z n is not allowed (because of eclipsis and y(n))

Vowels

a e i o w /a e i o u/; no diphthongs or vowel length

Stress

Stress is always final (so that Eevo speakers won't reduce vowels).

Affixes

Tends prefixing.
