Contionary:laghen
Skundavisk
Etymology
From Middle Skundavisk laghen, from Old Skundavisk lahhan, hlahhan, from Halmisk hlahhan, hlahian, from Proto-Germanic *hlahjaną. The /i/ of hlahian fell early in Halmisk by analogy with other class 6 strong verbs, hence the absence of i-umlaut.
