The Tsí Rule is a rule that states that if tsí are the last letters of a word (discounting suffixes and prefixes), it will be pronounced [tse̞] instead of [tsi].

Examples

  • ŗobatsí [probatse̞], not [probatsi]
  • solůtsí [solutse̞], not [solutsi]
