Drulidel

Pronunciation

(Drulidel) IPA: /gaːl/

Adjective

gál

  1. holy, sacred
    Gál ris selemen ye.
I am going to the holy tree.
  1. "nature-tuned", in touch with the natural world
    Rud elug... umlugál iln.
That person... they are incredibly in tune with nature.

Usage notes

The Drulid people deeply revere the natural world and would protect any wilderness with their lives against foreign encroachment; they pride themselves on their connection to the natural world. The word "gál" reflects this connection to nature and is used to describe either something holy (often connecting to nature itself) or someone that is seen as deeply in tune with nature.
