Arilangic (placeholder name) is a language family of polysyllabic tonal languages mostly native to Imrnga. It has two subbranches corresponding to different syllable shapes, called the Tu branch and the Ut branch in Arilangic linguistics. Proto-Arilangic was a polysyllabized monosyllabic tonal language with many homophonous morphemes, much like Mandarin.
