Introduction

Welcome, dear language lovers! Here is a little presentation of Loriska/Lŏriskā/(Syebic alphabet version comming soon)

Loriska is designed to sound:

🔥Warm 👍Calm 😏Cool

It is mainly inspired by Europeans groups of languages, mostly Latin, Germanic and Slavic.

Actually, nobody speaks it, but you could be one of the first speakers! 🫵

Not finished yet, but the creation of Lorisçā (Loriska) has started the 13 december 2024 by Sébastien Schmittag, aiming to create a simple slavic-like dialect for Lorrains. During summer of 2025, he made a second version of the language, the "traditional Łọrịṣ̌çā". He kind of perfectionned it. Between September and October 2025, he took a break and started learning Esperanto and Interslavic, and that caused him to rethink entirely the Loriskian language. He wanted to make it more Intereuropean. So since May 2026, he restarted from scratch, and made 3 versions of it: the latin one (less accents), the Loriskian original (with accents) and the Syebic (alphabet entirely invented by him) one. Funfact: the first word of Lorisçā was "Dā ñälā" (Hello/Good day, ñälā meaning day). And the two first words of Loriska were "za" (this, here) and "na" (that, there)

It uses Europeans common sounds, Romanians R, Latin V, Germans W, Germans U, wl is pronnounced v-l-, not vl-...
