In Thrichian, nouns are declined for case (7) and number (4). There are three classes of noun: A-class, U-class and Neuter. A-class are identifiable by their ending -a. Nouns ending in ''-gí'' also follow the same pattern, removing the -í. U-class nouns are exclusively those ending in -u. Neuter nouns end in a consonant (s, n, g, l, r) or a diphthong, including words ending in a vowel + mh.
It is important to note that the addition of suffixes such as ''-iktea'', denoting smallness or inferiority, change the noun‘s declension class to the ending vowel of that suffix. Thus, hieg (door) is neuter in its regular declension, while '''hiegiktea''' ''(little door)'' is A-class.
