Æ /ɛ/ eh is a tonal language inspired by Danish (and the name is inspired by the real-world E language).

Morphology
"Erhua" (pharyngealization) is sometimes used to nominalize verbs (from PLak *⟨X⟩) or form passives/intransitive verbs (from PLak *⟨r⟩) from transitive ones.
- hæ̊g /hœʔ/ = to lose one's way > hæ̊rg /hœˤʔ/ = mistake, error
- ngoj /ŋoj/ = to see > ngojr /ŋoˤ/ = to be visible, to appear
