==Skundavisk==
===Etymology===
From Middle Skundavisk ''-ig'', from Old Skundavisk ''-iga'', ''-ga'', from Halmisk ''-ga'', ''-gaŕ'', from Proto-Germanic ''*-gaz''. In Proto-Germanic and Halmisk, forms in ''-ag-'', ''-ig-'' and ''-ug-'' existed depending on the final vowel of the root. However, the ''-ig-'' form superseded the others during the Old Skundavisk phase, often causing umlaut of the root vowel.
