There is also a great diversity of beliefs.  Ancestor worship is less common, along with reverence for the ''murráficos'', who are considered rustic and uncivilised, but still present, especially in among northerners moved south after the war.  Polytheism and animism are popular, and local gods are worshipped alongside Old Aeranid and Talothic ones, and the Great Maker.  Some, even outside of ethnic Fassermen, still worship the Fasser gods.  ''Elguenum'', an amalgamation of the current supreme god of the Fasser throne of heaven, ''<nowiki>'</nowiki>ilwa'', and the post-Aeranid god ''avin aënumun'' ('eternal sun'), is popular amongst many.

Fashion in the north is generally conservative, with a preference for stiff, form fitting clothing that covers most of the body.  Typical northern Tevrén clothing consists of a linen shirt, with collar or [[w:Ruff (clothing)|ruff]] and matching wrist ruffs.  Over the shirt is word a stiff, heavy [[w:Doublet (clothing)|doublet]] reinforces with boning.  Optionally a [[w:Jerkin (clothing)|jerkin]], a sleeveless padded vest, is worn above the doublet.
