This is Africa

Oh, an africolang! I love those! Be sure to ask for any help on the linguistics should you need to! Welcome! Waahlis.png Waahlis 08:38, 1 December 2012 (CET)

I wouldn't say that it's an African conlang precisely; phonologically, I want it to be far more similar to English than any African language. It's more like a spoof of African languages. Thank you for the link! Mboso (talk) 19:23, 30 December 2012 (CET)

Etymologies

Are daya (midget) and daga (dog) related to each other? I couldn't help but notice that both refer to small animate entities and have very similar "stems" if we remove the animate ending -a: dag- & day-. Because it would be quite hilarious if there was a semantoderivationalinflectionalcognatesomething relationship between these two.

Alas, daga is derived from dog. I just needed an example word. :P Mboso (talk) 23:13, 24 August 2013 (CEST)
