Template:Nomination/fork1

Welcome everyone, to a new language featuring on Linguifex!

We thank and the language for being a great and inviting conlang for our front page!

Votes will be accepted until .

Procedure

There are some rules that must be heeded:

  • A user may not vote for more than one conlang during the same nomination period.
  • The language ought to have the featured banner translated or be in a stage where it can be done by anyone. The language author may provide a translation at a later date on discretion of the administratores.
  • Winners may be re-nominated once six (6) months have passed.
  • No self voting. These will be discarded.
  • Unregistered users may, naturally, not vote.
  • Newly registered users must be working on a conlang of some sort on the wiki.
  • Bots are barred from voting.

When voting for a featured language, you may only vote once. It is appropriate but not required to write a short motivational phrase when casting your vote. You may change or remove your vote before the voting ends.

"This language was once featured. Thanks to its level of quality, plausibility and usage capabilities, it has been voted as featured."

Criteria

You may vote for whatever reason, however we encourage you to keep the following criteria in mind beyond aesthetics:

  • Intention - How well the language serves its intention, if any.
  • Naturalism - Depends on intention, a language may be found very naturalistic or not.
  • Grammar - How are the various grammatical components cooperating? Is it complicated, too complicated or simple? Depends again on its intention.
  • Usability - Is the language usable, functional or difficult to use? How are the texts glossed? How many texts/words are there?
  • Completeness - "Perfection is many small details done well" - Marco Pierre White - Does the language seem complete to you? Is it lacking in any aspect?
