Music

Ancient Tseezh music was described in terms of poetry and rhythms of speech. For the ancient Tseezh, singing was merely a stylized way to recite poetry. For dance they just had rhythmic percussion. Religious ceremonies used dances and incantations instead of music as such.

Tuning

Classical Tseezh music was Aristoxenean, i.e. it had no fixed tuning system. Melodies were based on the contours of speech.
