Singulare tantum nouns can’t be plural through morphology, but not through syntax. Agreement-mismatched nouns can be singulare tantum if a word appears only in the singular but has dual or plural meaning, thus interfering indirectly in the rest if the morphology. For example: Are the woods red? > bearhmhighriaidhaneshem rhoeish:. bearhmhighr can’t receive the plural marker, but always has a plural meaning. This affects the pronominal suffix -es that turns plural: -eshem.
