Regarding Æ music again

Firstly, I want to say sorry for bothering you so often on the topic of Angai as you have been working on it.

However, I would like to propose that you work on Theasphere music so that we can work out the dynamics between Æ and Theasphere music, as currently Æ music seems to be working in a vacuum, and no musical culture as far as I know exists solely in a vacuum.

(Or you could just go the easy route and have Æ music influence the rest of the Theasphere's music but the latter refuses to admit it because of political reasons.) H. H. P. M. P. Cole (talk) 01:52, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

I think it's okay for Æ music to differ markedly from that of the rest of the tonal Theasphere, like Hmong music (much of which is speech-tone music) differs from that of the rest of the Sinosphere (Chinese and Vietnamese). All of Timeine 1 Angai Europe can use (fairly low-tech) low-overtone JI, though, given the average tech level I imagine is available to the average person. Also, all of the popular traditions can constitute some kind of rejection of "elitist" music which I can assume is based on Classical Thean music. The difference between Æ and Thean music can be because Æ tones are more phonation-based than Thean or Qua ones. IlL (talk) 02:23, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

Interesting ideas. Funny idea: As I have decided that the vọj Gjám, as stated before, is primarily used as a kind of "rejection of the upper classes" mode, there might be an element of vọj Gjám in Thean popular music though this might be wildly contested or rejected depending on who you ask.
