All of Timeine 1 Angai Europe can use (fairly low-tech) low-overtone JI, though, given the average tech level I imagine is available to the average person. Moving page

Hey, why’d you move my page, Dãterške language, to Dãterške, especially without leaving a redirect? -User:Учхљёная (talk, conlangs, edits). 16:34, 13 December 2018 (CET)

We don't use "X language" for language pages. I've been in the habit of renaming pages without redirects -- sorry. IlL (talk) 17:17, 13 December 2018 (CET)

@IlL: Okay, I did realize my standardization error with that, so thanks. -User:Учхљёная (talk, conlangs, edits). 17:36, 13 December 2018 (CET).

Seventh Linguifex Relay

Hey, so I wasn't exactly sure how to siğn-up for the relay; do I just add my name to the seat list and ask you for the text? -User:Учхљёная (talk, conlangs, edits). 00:54, 10 January 2019 (CET).

Hello!

Hello, I really don't want to use Discord for personal reasons, so I am messaging you on your talk page for now unless I can find a better solution.

Anyway, see this for a strange thing I have done a day ago (reminded me distantly of Danishmandi, one of your current sketches) - an idea would be that this could be an old Angaian language, if you are okay with it. H. H. P. M. P. Cole (talk) 01:09, 20 December 2024 (UTC)

Wug Nlab is the only thing that is making me sane now. Save me... H. H. P. M. P. Cole (talk) 12:18, 6 January 2025 (UTC)

A piece of feedback

I think, creating new toponyms (instead of using Earth toponyms) for Angai will make it less jarring for the readers. H. H. P. M. P. Cole (talk) 11:29, 1 June 2025 (UTC)

Can I work on Æ music? H. H. P. M. P. Cole (talk) 06:05, 13 June 2025 (UTC)

    • Sure, if I'm okay with your contributions. Please don't change the list of modes without my permission. IlL (talk) 06:24, 13 June 2025 (UTC)
        • Gotcha IlL (talk) 06:41, 13 June 2025 (UTC)

Regarding Æ music again

Firstly, I want to say sorry for bothering you so often on the topic of Angai as you have been working on it.

However, I would like to propose that you work on Theasphere music so that we can work out the dynamics between Æ and Theasphere music, as currently Æ music seems to be working in a vacuum, and no musical culture as far as I know exists solely in a vacuum.

(Or you could just go the easy route and have Æ music influence the rest of the Theasphere's music but the latter refuses to admit it because of political reasons.) H. H. P. M. P. Cole (talk) 01:52, 16 June 2025 (UTC)

I think it's okay for Æ music to differ markedly from that of the rest of the tonal Theasphere, like Hmong music (much of which is speech-tone music) differs from that of the rest of the Sinosphere (Chinese and Vietnamese). All of Timeine 1 Angai Europe can use (fairly low-tech) low-overtone JI, though, given the average tech level I imagine is available to the average person. Or popular Thean and Qua music can use a "pentamaqam" system (because of speech tone music using 5 pitch levels) IlL (talk) 02:45, 16 June 2025 (UTC)
