Grammatical Notes

Some of the alternate potential translations are cut out because alternate meanings would have you scratching you head [lú is literally "three" but can mean "many" and similarly "Gon" which means waking is a figurative form of "Death".

Fén has a VOS order which leads to a lot of wierd innovations, particularly one would not be ill adviced to check out Clauses on the wiki page.

the -a suffix marks plural, while certain initial consonants of nouns and verbs are lenited [b->bh, d->dh] if preceded by an adjective, an auxiliary verb or an adverb.

Prepositions can be considered as case markers in some ways and fill niches that English prepositions do not, such as marking the subject of a verb, or an object which is possessed. It is important to note that these precede both noun and any related adjectives. Sentances or phrases without "me" in it are to be read as passive.

Copulas are wierd but typically are marked at the beginning of a sentance, they fill the role of positive, negative and conjunctions. I avoided the wierdest case here at the expense of directness. If you are having serious trouble, consult the page.

Fén does not have a definite or indefinite article, instead "ít" or "this" can be used in the place of it.

A final note which isn't covered on the page [though it gets a gloss in vocative] is that personal pronouns can be preceded with nouns much like determiners. This helps specify the subject of the pronoun more clearly and serves as similar function to "We soldiers" or "You, girl" in English.
