Mpfa Wieb is a continent in Tricin. It is the second-largest landmass in Tricin, apart from Etatalma.

History

The Hlou people are indigenous to Talma.

After the Windermere Conquest of Talma (500 fT), the Hlou people migrated west to Mpfa Wieb. This marks the start of the Early Ages.

The Clooa were the first to migrate, making the entire landmass Clooa territory until the Clooa Empire disintegrated in 1023 fT. During Clooa rule, other Hlou-Shum-language-speaking groups migrated there.

After said disintegration, the Hlouic languages split, with a group of Hlou-Shum migrating north to create the highly divergent Gledanshin (Hlou Gle Dän Xien) civilization.

By the end of the Early Ages and the start of the Age of Science around fT 1700 with the publication of the first acoustics textbook, ??? (Hlou nationalists who are supporters of Plu Soha might say it is Elements of Harmony by Tsăhongtămdi), ideals similar to Western philosophical ideals arose.

In early modern Tricin, the Hlou colonial empire (Hlou: Huß-Maug, literally "Maug world" after the family name of the first Hlou-Shum royal family) was one of the major powers of the world, with the most notable colony in Zlïkerẅẅs (the capital city of Raudehn was originally a colonial city).

Today the Hlou people lead research in music, and to a lesser extent, mathematics and physics.

Mpfa Schlaub and Tạj Vŭ̃r are the leading powers in this region, with much competition between them.

Major languages

The major languages of Mpfa Wieb are Hlou, Gloob, Clooa, and Tlu. Other minority languages, like Liai, are also spoken. Most languages spoken here are part of the Hlou-Shum family of languages, with the exception of the Rieng-Chrâtt languages, the largest being Æ.
