Linguifex will be changing authoritative nameservers for the domain this weekend (3-5 jan 2025), the change has been carefully planned to not cause any outages, but there is always a risk of disruption. This is part of the 2025 improvement program to beef up Linguifex to be faster, snappier and less prone to outages. |
User:SN2rname
Hello and welcome to my user page. This is SN2rname (S-N-too-[alveolar tap]-name), or "SN2" for short. Most of my conlangs will be a priori.
If you spot a technical error in my articles that goes unchecked for a week or more, please help correct it or notify me on my talk page so I can correct it.

Trivia
I may need to take a look at Nǁng (not !Kung) to learn more about clicks for Dax phonetic transcription. Unicode made it so that there are at least four different ways to write "Nǁng" (I use U+01C1...)
It seems the average user on this wiki speaks 6 languages. Then I'm too far behind. Fortunately I know a bit of Latin, starting from enwiki and dictionaries then grammar guides (dcc[DOT]dickinson[DOT]edu/grammar/latin) and bible verses (www[DOT]biblestudytools[DOT]com/vul/genesis). I'm grateful of these sources that they gave me a proper primer on concepts like declension and conjugation.
Many weird things happened in my life between 2019 and 2025, including a two-year hiatus from school I spent in nearly complete isolation without talking to another human being. One (peripheral) effect was my speech became slow and weird.
When I have parsed my past and present better, I might reveal a bit more about myself, including my L1, my L2, language as sꙩcial cꙩntrꙩl, and early conlanging attempts.
