Structure
Most people who use Shalaian names either use a new Shalaian given name and keep their original surname, or use a full name consisting of 3 to 5 Shalaian names. There are no true family names in Shalaian as used in AETHER, since families as we know them no longer exist as social units; however, one may choose to take a partner's surname if they have one.
