Post-singularity utopian sci-fi setting created by User:IlL based on an Earth timeline similar to ours
Todo
Use Shalaian names instead of Germanic names for post-Ascent names
In-universe conlangs
A-posteriori languages
These are the Earth language families we know and love, which developed on Earth before the Ascent.
- IE
- Italic
- Latin
- Romlang continuum
- Liturgical Francian
- Something Modern French-esque
- Latin
- Ancient Greek
- Liturgical Greek (passed through GVS-esque shifts)
- Celtic
- Old Irish
- Alt-Irish
- Judeo-Nurian
- Old Irish
- (something maximally un-Germanic)
- Riphean
- English
- Indo-Aryan
- Persian
- Another IA language (source of karma)
- Liturgical language of Buddhism (vaguely Finnic-inspired)
- Italic
- Afro-Asiatic
- Semitic
- Hebrew
- Aramaic
- A-Arabic
- Egyptian
- Semitic
Hebrew
A-Tiberian Hebrew is the same as ours but with ejective instead of pharyngealized
The standard and most commonly taught Hebrew accent is the same as the Lõisian "Revived Holy Land" accent (see Verse:Lõis/Hebrew)
Judeo Nurian speakers should have an original accent, with
- glottal reinforcement and/or preaspiration as in Judeo-Nurian
- pataħ-segol merger to ə, QG = a, as in Babylonian
