Kxel is an ongoing democratic conlang project started in 2020 by Lily Jane Rotfels and some of her friends. It is not particular to any (micro- or macro-)nation. Every change made to the language must go through a process in which it must receive more than two thirds of the popular vote to be added.

Phonotactics
The basic phonotactic rule is (C)V(C), with all consonants being allowed in both the onset and the coda. There are currently no phonemic diphthongs.
Orthography
Kxel currently uses three writing systems: Cyrillic, Latin and Lontara. The addition of Katakana is currently being debated.
