:Actually, I took inspiration from the few Polynesian scripts that exist, I then did a rough sketch on paper, nothing complex and finally made it with Adobe Illustrator, though I'm sure Inkscape (freeware) is equally good at that. ::Now you say that I can see the similarities with Javanese and Balinese! I've always wanted to make a really nice looking script that is also realistic - it's never really worked out. I've tried to use Inkscape in the past but I've never really managed to get the hang of it, but that's probably my fault and not Inkscape's.
