Usage of variations:

  • 1st variation: infinitive, singular present, plural present (except 3rd conj.), singular perfect (4th, 5th conj.), plural perfect (1st, 2nd, 3rd conj.), imperfect (2nd, 3rd conj.), passive (1st conj.)
  • 2nd variation: singular perfect (1st, 2nd, 3rd conj.)
  • 3rd variation: future (except 3rd conj.), passive (2nd, 5th conj.)
  • 4th variation: plural present (3rd conj.), perfect plural and imperfect (4th, 5th conj.), future (3rd conj.), passive (3rd, 4th conj.)

SUBJUNCTIVE, ACTIVE: Present and Imperfect: 1st var. (1st, 2nd, 3rd conj.), 4th var. (4th, 5th conj.). Perfect: exactly like the indicative perfect.
