Angai (AHNG-ghee; the name is from Flei) is a setting dominated by highly tonal languages.
- Rwbmwdqwg: A tritonal root language
- Quququqquq: A language with only /k u a/ and two tones
- Flei: Tonal Old Irish which develops reading traditions and is revived
