Old Ponish was a Germanic language which was spoken in what is now Equestria.
Old Ponish developed from a set of Anglo-Frisian dialacts spoken by the Germanic tribes
Etymology
Eohwisċ, means 'pertaining to the ponies', the name comes from the Proto-West-Germanic word *ehw, from earlier Proto-Germanic *ehwaz.
