Angai (/ˈɑːŋgaɪ/ from Aíkaì Ānkạì /a⁵ŋ³ka¹i²/) is an alternate history Earth setting prominently featuring highly tonal languages. (The point of divergence from our timeline is some point between the emergence of modern humans and Out of Africa, so we still have all Earth species including humans, but today's human languages are from completely different families)
