Register
A stressed vowel may be in the clear register or the breathy register. In this article the breathy register is marked with a grave accent: tsjàang /t͡sʲa̤ːŋ/ 'father'.
Morphology
Most morphology in Séiseal/Music is derivational, as in Proto-Tie (and in most Mon-Khmer languages). However, some of the derivational morphology has grammaticalized further into inflectional morphology.
Verbs
Verbs inflect only for two tenses (present and non-present). The present tense is marked with an infix ⟨en⟩ - tvjàay 'to go', tenvjàay 'goes'.
